Song Leader

Hi, I'm Assamiya (pronounced A-sa-mee-a, she/her pronouns). I'm the Creatress of Heart Song Collective and the leader of our weekly Song Medicine sessions. I'm passionate about the power of embodied singing for our physical and mental health and wellbeing, and the connective magic of singing together in community. This is my soul project.  And you and your voice are so welcome to join us!

You can learn more about me here, about Heart Song Collective here, and all the details including how to book your ticket for our weekly Song Medicine events are here.

What our regulars think...

I really recommend it! A non-competitive, non-judgmental space where everything is welcome, including my own sometimes out of tune-ness. The day or two after, I am so free and bouncy.

It's just wonderful! I know I'm gonna really enjoy it and I know it's gonna make me feel really lovely. I often feel euphoric afterwards. Very connected with everyone who is there, very calm. Like I’ve used my voice in a really powerful way.

This is the highlight of my week. There's a real sense of peace, especially by the end, even when the songs have been a bit tricky. It’s like soul singing and I think anyone would love it.
